Our mission is to provide advocacy, facilitate independence in life, and connection to the community for children with disabilities and their families.
Our Board of Directors includes special needs parents and grandparents. They've been to countless IEP meetings, specialist appointments, and hospitalizations. We're here to support your family and advocate for your child's needs during these difficult times.
Through our fundraising efforts, we hope to be able to provide various kinds of durable medical equipment to children with special needs. These items may include bibs, adaptive utensils, bathroom renovations, ramps, wheelchairs, bath chairs, and other adaptive equipment as we are able.
We support families beyond the therapy session by hosting monthly social gatherings. Our Beyond Therapy Play Days provide an accepting environment for children of all abilities to engage in unstructured play and make friends. We also facilitate relationships between special needs parents so they can share experiences, resources, and guidance.
Monica is a pediatric occupational therapist with a passion for helping children achieve independence in all areas of life including socially, self-care, or in any meaningful occupation.
